Benefits from karate practice
 

Strength and Endurance,
 
As a result of utilizing both arms and legs wail executing karate techniques for long repetition, karate training develops a high level of muscular strength, endurance and agility.

Cardiovascular and Respiratory,
All karate trainings include 30-45 minutes of continuous execution of karate techniques and forms. This is same as any complete exercise program while still  enjoying and learning karate art of self defense.

Flexibility and Balance,
Karate trainings providing maximum range of movement, and therefore importance of stretching is stressed. The methodology in karate training provides major contributions to flexibility that do not exist in most other sports.

Learning Performance and Career,
Doe to the high and continuous concentrations needed in learning and executing karate techniques, ones general learning abilities and learning habits will be greatly enhanced. That enhancement applies to karate techniques, and more so to normal daily life activities. This is of great benefit to all people, but more specifically to students and children with learning deficiencies. 

Exercise Continuity,
As a result of the continuous learning requirements in karate training, one feels obligated to be committed to attendance on a regular basis. This is an important benefit for those who have problem motivating themselves to exercise.

Neuroendocrine and Musculoskeletal,
Exercise in general increases bone density and helps slow down the process of osteoporosis. Doe to the structured nature and high concentration requirements of karate training, improvement in mental alertness, thinking abilities, sensory awareness, reaction speed, and physical coordination will be subsequently recognized.

Mental,
By exercising and mastering difficult techniques beyond expectations, one learns how to conquer limitations and realizes that they exist only in one`s mind.

Psychological,
Karate training, as well as exercising in general, results in enhanced sejf-esteem, improved overall psichological well-being, increased self-confidence, and hence, decreased depression.

Self Defense,
All of the above benefits are achieved through the mastering and execution of techniques of fighting art. By developing a stronger, more fit person with a high level of concentration and quick reflexes, in addition to the knowledge of self-defense skills, karate helps change the odds favorably when one is confronted with a threatening situation.
